Throwing and Trimming Porcelain Plates

Porcelain plates this week. Thrown and trimmed, together with a short show and tell of my favourite turning tools. I've included links to the tool maker's below, (none of these are ads of sponsored links, I'm just a fan of handmade tools).

Jaejun Lee trimming tools, (these aren't always available): https://leejaejun.com/ Phil Poburka trimming tools, (enquiring is best): http://bisonstudios.com Spinner tool by Richard Carter, (best to enquire): https://www.instagram.com/richardcart... Rubber kidney, made by Mudtools: https://mudtools.com My throwing gauge is made by Darren Ellis, (http://www.darrenellispottery.com/sho...)

I also forgot to mention in the video but the shiny brass tools I used to flatten the surface of the thrown plate, or as seen in the thumbnail for this video, were made by Marc Blaizeau, who sent me a pair to use. They can be found on his Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/fr/shop/marcblai...
